  • The paper, having been found not to be obscene by Bath magistrates has still be handed a legal bill for £1500 – about £13,500 now, allowing for inflation. Gay Switchboard is expanding its hours to cope with demand. CHE will be going to Sheffield in 1975, says Barry Jackson. Local newspapers in Slough and Portsmouth have refused adverts for LGBT+ support charities. Granada TV have made a documentary, Joe, about so-called aversion therapy, with CHE calling for it to be banned soon.

  • Bums away – PLYMOUTH: You can bet your bottom new p that there were some red faces at the Plymouth Evening Argus recently. Because included in one of their articles was the following piece of information: “A complaint was lidged [their mistake] yesterday by sailors on board HMS Neasden, who complained that their bum ration had been cut short.”
